Hats off to all participants in the Valley’s largest one day community-wide volunteer event, United Way of Southern Nevada’s first annual Day of Caring! And we are proud to say that Lis Lammers and Janine Wile, co-owners of Home Life Concierge and volunteers for Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department were on hand to lend a hand to Three Square Food Bank, the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization. 

With over 60 volunteers helping that day, we were able to pack 6,937 meals for food insecure children and pack 10,539 pounds of produce that went to families in need all across the community.  Three Square is on track to provide 45 million pounds of food and grocery products over the next year – the equivalent of 38 million meals.  WOW!
